The Promotional Products Education Foundation’s (PPEF) Board of Trustees has elected five incoming trustees. Janet McMaster, MAS, regional vice president at distributor Geiger; Sydra Newell, CAS, business development manager at supplier SnugZ USA; Rhonda Reilly, MAS, director of sales at supplier Pilot Corporation of America; and Dustin Wicks, sales system project manager at distributor HALO Branded Solutions, will begin three-year terms in January following the PPEF board meeting at The PPAI Expo 2020. Lindsey Davis, MAS, director of promotional sales at supplier Raining Rose, is joining the board immediately to fill a vacated position through January 2022.

McMaster has spent 33 years in the promotional products industry, all of it with Geiger. She has served on numerous industry volunteer boards, including that of Specialty Advertising Counselors of the Delaware Valley (SACDV)/Philadelphia Area Promotional Products Association (PAPPA) and the Carolinas Association of Advertising and Marketing Professionals (CAAMP), the Regional Association Council (RAC) board and PPAI committees and workgroups.

First joining the promotional products industry 19 years ago, Newell has been with SnugZ USA for the past 14 years. Newell participated in PPAI’s Women’s Leadership Council planning committee for several years, and outside the industry, was a fundraising volunteer for Planned Parenthood. She has also worked with distributors on the development of programs for numerous nonprofit organizations.

An industry veteran of 16-plus years, Reilly has been with Pilot for almost five years. She has served on PPAI committees and initiatives and outside the industry, she has donated her time to the Esther Cannizzo Golf Foundation for the past 10 years. The foundation assists local children learn the game of golf as well as a life skill. A former LPGA tour player, she participated in tournament functions and worked with sponsors and donors.

Wicks has worked in the promotional products industry for the past 13 years and joined HALO earlier this year. An active member of PPAChicago, he has served as the regional association’s treasurer, events chair and education chair, and participated in its fundraising efforts.

Davis joined Raining Rose almost three years ago and has been in the industry for 11 years. She has held numerous roles on the board of the Rocky Mountain Region Promotional Products Association (RMRPPA) and the RAC board. She has participated in fundraising for both groups, generating support for the RMRPPA Mile High Expo and the Promotional Products Disaster Relief Fund.

PPEF’s new trustees are joining the 18-member PPEF Board of Trustees and will guide the foundation in its mission to provide college scholarships to industry employees and their children.
