With big changes recently announced to PPAI’s membership structure, the Association is making efforts to ensure that the promotional products community has clarity on the purposes and motivations behind the changes. With that in mind, PPAI is continuing its touring Townhall sessions on the topic, using regional associations as a conduit to connect with industry members across the country.

Next week, PPAI is joining the Virginia Promotional Products Association’s The Quest trade show event held in Chesapeake, Virginia, on March 18-19. To register for the event, click here.

PPAI Coming To Virginia

Like the majority of regional associations serving the promotional products community, VAPPA officially joined PPAI last year as a business service member. This dynamic strengthens the ties between the two organizations and facilitates collaboration and purposeful messaging.

As such, Ellen Tucker, MAS, CAE, PPAI’s vice president, revenue and expositions, is attending The Quest to speak in detail on the Association’s membership changes.

  • Tucker’s PPAI Townhall will take place on both days of the event.
  • Monday’s membership presentation will include lunch and Tuesday’s morning membership presentation will include breakfast.
  • RSVP is required for both events.

PPAI’s recent membership restructuring is built around members' ability to choose what best suits their company.

  • The NWPMA Town Hall will allow regional members to receive further clarification on any questions and to better understand the motivations behind these changes.

“Our focus is on simplicity and the alignment of benefits and value,” says Dale Denham, MAS+, president and CEO of PPAI.

The membership restructuring may impact different promo companies in different ways. The Townhall forums allow PPAI’s leadership to interface with members in-person to address any potential confusion during the initial stages of the new process.
Directly after the Tuesday Townhall forum, Lindsey Davis, MAS, PPAI’s director of sales and professional development, will present a session on Promotional Products Work!
