Digital Art Solutions (PPAI 174657), a provider of artwork and software solutions for textile screen printing, embroidery, signage and rhinestone decorating processes, based in Tempe, Arizona, has been acquired by industry sales and production software firm InkSoft.

InkSoft President Scott Allen sees the acquisition as addressing two of the biggest challenges facing printers: sales growth and graphic design bottlenecks. He says, “InkSoft’s purpose is to revolutionize the way print entrepreneurs do business and solve real-world challenges. We now offer a package solution that will make things easier by simplifying the entire design process from initial art concept to finished product from one of the most respected artwork suppliers in the industry.”

InkSoft and Digital Art Solutions will maintain their brands, but will be managed from a centralized headquarters in Tempe. Digital Art Solutions’ founder Craig Mertens will continue his role in managing the company’s operations. Mertens says, “InkSoft and Digital Art Solutions are a perfect fit. This will expand our reach and bring our graphics system to a larger audience. Together, InkSoft and DAS will provide a total solution for sales and production.”
