With The PPAI Expo 2024 just days away, SAGE – PPAI’s official technology partner – has announced expanded capabilities of SAGE ShowLink, an application intended to help the promo community get the most out of their trade show experience.

  • Among other features, SAGE ShowLink allows suppliers to scan badges or business cards in order to collect leads and schedule follow-ups.

A Must For Trade Shows

Veteran distributors of The PPAI Expo typically sing the praises of the SAGE mobile app when navigating the trade floor, which is so massive in scale that it can give first timers the sense that they should be leaving a trail of breadcrumbs.

The most recent update to SAGE ShowLink primarily focuses on suppliers’ ability to more effectively secure and follow up with leads collected on the trade show floor.

A higher functionality has been added that allows suppliers to scan badges or business cards using an iOS or Android device.

  • When show badges are not scannable, exhibitors can scan a business card to automatically fill in the lead fields.
  • Business cards can be scanned offline and will update the lead information once a connection is established, allowing for a lifeline when Wi-Fi is unavailable.

The latest version of SAGE ShowLink (8.0) also introduces new functionality for associating photos with individual leads.

  • Suppliers can take photos of products within the SAGE ShowLink app that might be of interest to a lead and link the photo to respective lead.
  • This facilitates an efficient process for post-event follow-ups regarding specific products.

Version 8.0 has also updated the interface of the app.

  • It includes a redesigned and user-friendly lead list.
  • Added sorting options allow suppliers to identify their own prospects.
  • Suppliers can also quickly retrieve their show statistics and reports directly from the primary lead page.
