The day after The PPAI Expo 2024 ended, 4imprint (PPAI 107200, D16) snuck in some monumental preliminary financial news, announcing an anticipated $1.33 billion in revenue for 2023.

The Preliminary Update

In 2022, 4imprint and HALO were in a race to become the first billion-dollar distributors of promo. When the numbers were released in early 2023, it turned out they both achieved that milestone, but it was 4imprint that finished in the lead with $1.14 billion in reported revenue.

In 2023, it appears that 4imprint widened that gap. The Wisconsin-based company released a trading update claiming that that its anticipated 2023 revenue is $1.33 billion.

  • This unaudited trade report is not 4imprint’s final financial results report. The company stated that final 2023 results will be announced March 13.

In a statement released by Chief Financial Officer David Seekings, 4imprint Group says that it has made “significant operational progress in 2023, reflecting a clear strategy and a highly resilient business model.”

  • The anticipated $1.33 billion would amount to an increase of $186 million over 2022. That equates to a 16% uptick from one calendar year to the next.
  • The trade report states that unaudited profit before tax in 2023 is expected to be $140 million, compared to $104 million in 2022.

This new report is believed to have significantly widened the gulf over all other promo distributors in terms of reported revenue, firmly establishing 4imprint as the financial titan of promotional product distributorships.

  • PPAI Media will update readers in March, when 4imprint (and other considerably large firms) releases final results detailing financials.
