In January, PPAI welcomed Colet Williams to its staff as the Association’s new digital marketing manager. A new role within the organization, as digital marketing manager Williams will be responsible for PPAI’s social media presence, focusing on member engagement, and contributing to and overseeing website content.

Williams has spent the last several years serving as a digital marketing strategist for various clients. She owned an agency that assisted online entrepreneurs in the health and lifestyle sectors with their marketing and digital strategy. Prior to that, she served as an instructional specialist in the Dallas Independent School District and as an assistant principal in the Houston Independent School District. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, Corporate Communication, from the University of Texas and a master’s in Education, Educational Administration, from Houston Baptist University.

“I am elated to have joined the PPAI team,” says Williams. “The entire staff is so welcoming, and the marketing team is truly masterful. I was initially attracted to this role as a creative, an innovator and storyteller. I saw the digital marketing manager position with PPAI as an opportunity to utilize my strengths and assist the Association with not only becoming the standout voice of the industry but advancing it as a whole, and in turn, being of supreme value to our membership in this ever-evolving space.”

Williams’ initial objective in her new role is to rally behind the Association’s strategic vision and support its members with engaging, relevant and educational content that will assist them in strengthening and expanding their individual businesses.

A Francophile by nature, Williams has enjoyed learning and exploring the country and its culture, and engaging with its people. “I have many interests but the one that seems to always take precedence is my affinity toward the French culture,” she says. “When I am not visiting France I am working with my tutor on mastering my French language skills and chatting about the French approach to lifestyle on my personal podcast that I host!”
