Expect the unexpected at The PPAI Expo 2024.

Returning to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas for the 21st year, the largest and longest-running trade show in the promotional products industry has earned its reputation for surprising and delighting attendees.

  • In the past, there have been fresh donuts, live music and even goats roaming the trade show floor, creating quite the spectacle.

  • The unpredictable atmosphere is what keeps many industry veterans coming back, along with the endless opportunities to connect with fellow promo pros.


“I’m excited for all to enjoy the variety and excitement of the show floor, where you can find live music, a place to recharge and special treats throughout,” says Ashley Van Der Stuyf, PPAI’s associate show manager.

New for 2024 is PPAI Recharge – a lounge on the show floor where you can pause, power up and unwind. Plus, there will be pop-ups, such as lattes, bagels and ice pops, sprinkled throughout the show.

  • SAGE Mobile, the official show planner for The PPAI Expo, will send notifications to let you know the locations and times of the pop-ups.


Networking Opportunities

PPAI Expo’s Opening Reception, which will take place on Level 2 in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on January 15, will be the perfect way to kick off your Expo experience with networking, hors d’oeuvres, drinks and entertainment.

Plus, PPAI will honor the recipients of its 2024 Icon Awards: PPAI Hall of Fame inductee Dave DeGreeff, MAS, and PPAI Distinguished Service Award recipient Bill Petrie.

  • These awards celebrate the accomplishments of those who have gone above and beyond in service to the promotional products industry, the Association and their communities.


Traditionally, recipients of the Association’s most prestigious awards have been recognized at the Chair’s Leadership Dinner at The PPAI Expo. Beginning in 2024, Icon Award recipients will be recognized with two distinctly special events to bring more significant awareness to their accomplishments.

As part of The PPAI Expo Conference, recipients will receive official on-stage recognition and be guests of honor during a networking luncheon. Additionally, each recipient will be part of a panel discussion during the luncheon, allowing them to share stories and wisdom with the audience.

  • Anyone can sign up to attend the luncheon when they register for The PPAI Expo 2024. Those who have already registered can return to their confirmation page and add a ticket to the luncheon.


That evening, the Chair’s Leadership Dinner will be held as a private, “invitation only” experience at an extremely memorable location: Rivea, atop the Delano Hotel overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.

  • The night will kick off with a reception, followed by dinner, as recipients enjoy a high-end, unique experience for themselves and their guests.


Promo & Pints

Promo & Pints – a beer garden located on the show floor – is the ideal location to meet with clients and network with colleagues. Seating is available anytime the show floor is open, and beer and wine will be available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon to show close.

On Tuesday, January 16, from 3-4 p.m., the Diversity Networking Event brings together members of the PPAI DEI task force, as well as diverse suppliers and distributors to build connections to help further supplier diversity, DEI and corporate social responsibility in the industry. It will be held in the beer garden on the show floor. Interested guests can add the free-to-attend event while registering for The PPAI Expo 2024.

On Tuesday, January 16, from 4-5 p.m., the annual Women’s Leadership Conference Social – an offshoot of the popular PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference – brings together women working in the promotional products industry. It will be held in the beer garden on the show floor, with a cash bar available. Interested guests can add the free-to-attend event while registering for The PPAI Expo 2024.

On Wednesday, January 17, from 4-5 p.m., the Technology Leaders Networking Event is an opportunity for like-minded promo industry IT professionals, decision-makers and executives who are leading their organizations’ technological health to mingle and discuss the issues relevant to the promo field. It will be held in the Beer Garden on the show floor, with a cash bar available. Interested guests can add the free-to-attend event while registering for The PPAI Expo 2024.

The Fun Doesn’t Stop

That’s not all! The PPAI Expo Party – being held on campus at Mandalay Bay on January 17 – will feature amazing food, an open bar and even more dazzling live entertainment than in years past.

  • Ticket prices are $50 for pre-registrants and $75 starting on Sunday, January 14, 2024 (on site).

  • Attendees who have already purchased a ticket for Promopalooza at Allegiant Stadium – The PPAI Expo Party is taking its place this year – will have choices in case the change of venue alters their plans.


PPAI also produces content throughout Expo week, including live interviews with industry experts, compelling TED Talk-style presentations by leading professionals and more. The content airs in multiple locations on-site and is brought to you from the Expo Live studio located right in the middle of the action.

If you’re seeking some fresh air, you can participate in the Glen Holt & Fran Ford Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, January 14, at Bali Hai Golf Club in Las Vegas. Supporting the Promotional Products Education Foundation, 112 golfers from more than 30 promo firms raised over $50,000 for PPEF’s college scholarship program last year.

The late Glen Holt, MAS, was a PPAI board member and Hall of Fame inductee who passed away in 2010, and Fran Ford Jr., CAS, was president of supplier Castelli, a division of Magnet, and PPAI Hall of Fame inductee who passed away in 2018. As a dedicated supporter of PPEF, Ford launched the PPEF Glen Holt Scholarship Golf invitational in 2014. The tournament celebrates their lasting legacies with PPEF scholarships named in their honor.
