A survey of small businesses by B2B research firm Clutch found that just over half, 52 percent, use cloud storage. Among respondents, Dropbox was the cloud storage solution used most often, while Apple iCloud was rated best for service.

Clutch’s research, which polled 744 full-time employees at firms with 11 to 1,000 employees in October 2015, found that 53 percent of respondents said their firms use Dropbox. Google Drive, Apple iCloud, and Microsoft OneDrive rounded out the top four most popular cloud storage services. Following Apple iCloud in users’ loyalty and satisfaction were Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive.

“Yes, cloud storage has been around for a while, but there are still many people who do not know the full scope of what can be done with it,” said David Amaya, consultant at Cardinal Solutions and cloud thought leader, in an interview with Clutch. “Security and compliance concerns hold many back from adopting the cloud. As small businesses become more aware of what is possible and how the cloud addresses these concerns, the number using the cloud will continue to increase."
