Marketer and blog master Seth Godin spent an hour last week with PPAI President and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE, in a Q&A-style session during Advertising Week in New York City. Bellantone quickly established a comfortable and often humorous banter with the edgy commentator who, in his trademark style, didn’t hesitate to speak his mind on topics ranging from becoming indispensable and horizontal marketing to his intentionally mismatched socks (he buys them that way—six to a pack).

“My mission is to change people,” Godin said to his audience of more than 350 advertising and marketing professionals. “There’s all this pressure on us to be mediocre—that’s why it’s so common. When we do our best work, we push back on that pressure.” Click here to watch the full interview.
