 ASB Creates Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council

American Solutions for Business (PPAI 101656, D12) has assembled a diversity, equity and inclusion council comprised of employees from across the U.S. The council crosses gender, geographic, age and departmental lines, and has a goal of sharing education and awareness with all members of ASB.

  • The council developed the following mission statement: “At ASB, we help people live their American dream. Our mission is to promote, educate and close gaps in understanding the individuality of our employees. Respect and inclusion are the cornerstone of our culture, and our passion to create the best employee and customer experience drives innovation. We will pursue diversity, equity and inclusion in our communities and workplaces, backed by our commitment to empathy and compassion.”

Zing Launches 100 Million Bottle Initiative And Giveback To Oceana

Zing (PPAI 517185, S7) announces a new initiative to combat plastic waste and protect the environment by promoting the use of reusable water bottles.

“Last year, over 600 billion plastic water bottles were sold – nearly one million bottles per minute around the world,” says Rob Watson, vice president of Zing. “Zing’s 100 million bottle initiative is aimed to displace environment waste and minimize single-use, plastic bottle consumption.”

  • Beginning August 1, the supplier is launching a campaign to raise awareness and encourage distributors to join its mission to reduce plastic pollution and keep 100 million plastic water bottles out of the ocean.
  • In addition, for every reusable water bottle (S’well, BUILT and Zing drinkware) purchased during this initiative, Zing will donate one percent of all reusable drinkware sales to Oceana, the largest international advocacy organization focused solely on ocean conservation.
  • Zing invites distributors to participate in the initiative. Each week the company will update its 100 million bottle leader board with the top distributor companies helping to make an impact.

Arch Promo Group Acquires Wristbands America

Arch Promo Group (PPAI 820951, S6) has acquired Wristbands America, a supplier of 100-percent USA-made silicone wristbands. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

  • Wristbands America began operations in 2005 in Kentucky and relocated to East Palestine, Ohio, in 2019. Owner Maggie Guglielmo spent four years growing the business before selling it to Arch Promo Group.
  • All equipment and order history has been relocated to Gemini Industries in Roxana, Illinois, a union facility where operations will restart in early September.


“We are excited to grow our portfolio of products and services with the addition of Wristbands America,” says Arch Promo Group’s National General Manager Steve Ehlert. “We are excited to offer another American-made item to our product line, and we are committed to continuing on with the same dedication as Maggie.”

Adam Gainey Steps Up As VP Of Revenue Operations At OrderMyGear

OrderMyGear (PPAI 704581) has promoted Adam Gainey to vice president of revenue operations.

  • He will play a pivotal role in developing and executing on strategies that improve client acquisition, growth and satisfaction by using streamlined process, technology and data across the entire revenue organization.
  • Since joining in 2020, Gainey has been instrumental in building out and scaling the finance, operations and business development functions within OMG. Before joining OMG, he served as a global finance and operations leader at Sabre, a global travel technology corporation.

Crystal D Celebrates TeriKay Thein’s Retirement

Crystal D (PPAI 112326, S8) announces the retirement of its longtime blanks and samples manager, TeriKay Thein.

  • Thein will retire on July 28 after 18 years of dedicated service. She has been a four-time Value Champion, winning three Respect awards in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and one Integrity award in 2013. She was also the recipient of the Step Up award in 2011, as well as the Grand Value Champion in 2010 and the Leadership Award in 2015.
  • Thein started her career as receptionist at Crystal D before adding the role of blanks and samples manager. As the company grew, in 2015 she moved full-time into her current role.
  • Thein is succeeded by Michelle Leach, who has been an order manager at Crystal D for the past two years. Her knowledge of the brand, awards and processes will ensure a seamless transition for customers.
