At a breakfast meeting at the offices of TradeNet Publishing, the local rotary/chamber of commerce recognized its 30 years in business.

PPAI Director of Member Engagement and Regional Relations Carol Gauger, MAS, was on the road recently, meeting with the Promotional Products Association of The Midwest’s (PPAM) and industry companies in the region.

PPAM brought its Fall Showcase to St. Louis, Missouri, and Lenexa, Kansas, this year. Gauger joined the show’s Kansas leg and met with the regional association’s board for a member recruitment and retainment strategy session.

While in the area, Gauger also attended a Rotary/Chamber of Commerce breakfast at the offices of TradeNet Publishing (UPIC: TRADENET). At the breakfast, Tom Metz, CEO and president of TradeNet, was honored for 30 years of business and community service in Gardner, Kansas. Following the event, attendees were given a tour of the supplier’s factory.

Gauger also visited industry service provider DistributorCentral, headquartered in Gardner, where she met with its president, Jason Nokes, to learn more about the company's growth and its active volunteerism in the industry at the regional and national level.
