The election for PPAI’s board class of 2024 opened September 9 and runs through September 30. In a change this year, the Association is presenting one distributor and one supplier to the membership for an approval vote. The nominees are Dawn Olds, CAS, senior vice president of operations at distributor HALO Branded Solutions, and Kevin Walsh, president of supplier Showdown Displays.

Olds and Walsh recently took part in a “virtual town hall meeting” webinar facilitated by Brittany David, MAS, PPAI board chair, and Paul Bellantone, CAE, PPAI president and CEO, during which they discussed what they think are the greatest challenges and opportunities facing the industry and PPAI, among other topics. The webinar is available on-demand for PPAI members and associates and earns listeners one certification credit.

Each PPAI member company has a voice in the direction of the Association, and PPAI bylaws require board nominees be ratified by the membership. A paper ballot has been mailed to every member company’s voting contact; voting can also be completed online. Election results will be announced in early October.
