Polyconcept North America (PCNA) has partnered with Moop, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based small-batch bag brand. PCNA, also headquartered in Pittsburgh, is first to market with this brand in the promotional products industry.

“We’re really excited to be partnering with Moop, a female-owned and locally-based small business, which is a combination not commonly found in the promotional products market,” says Isaac Ward, category manager for PCNA. “Small business has been disproportionality affected as a result of the pandemic and it’s important that local communities rally around these small businesses to help in whatever way they can. Not only can we provide our customers with a meaningful gift idea, but also do our part to help our own community in the process, and that’s what makes this partnership truly special.”

Designed and manufactured out of its studio in downtown Pittsburgh, Moop is a hands-on manufacturer of premium quality, fashion-forward backpacks, cross-body bags, tote bags and other styles crafted of waxed canvas and other fabrics. Ward says, “Mindful consumption is a key theme to come out of the pandemic. People want to know that they are buying a product that will last and be useful in their day-to-day life and Moop is exactly that.”

Wendy Downs, owner of Moop, adds, “We are so excited to bring our small-batch, local manufacturing ethics to the promotional products industry. We have been building high-quality bags for 14 years and have worked to develop a product line that meets the expectations for this industry at a price point that supports our ability to continue to provide good jobs in downtown Pittsburgh. We know that PCNA will represent our product well and look forward to exposing our brand to a broader audience as a result of this partnership.”
