Michael La Plante, lead front end developer at distributor Proforma (PPAI 196835), was recently featured on a livestream YouTube session sponsored by LinkedIn at Full Sail University’s 10th Annual Hall of Fame week. LinkedIn invited La Plante to participate in the “How I Work” session discussing the relationship between designers and developers in the workplace.

Full Sail University is a private, for-profit university located in Winter Park, Florida, offering degrees in the world of entertainment, media, arts and technology. Full Sail’s Hall of Fame Week brings in distinguished alumni to provide a unique learning opportunity for students at the university through various panels, workshops and educational opportunities.

LinkedIn specifically requested La Plante for its sponsored session because of his expertise and reputation in the Central Florida technology community. La Plante is a recognized technology leader with a track record of teaching and mentoring the next generation of technologists.

“It is a privilege to be featured in Full Sail’s Hall of Fame Week,” says La Plante. “Mentorship is my passion, and Hall of Fame Week embodies the philanthropic and educational opportunities that Proforma fully supports in the world of technology.”

La Plante spoke alongside Capital One Product Design Manager Margaret Haag. To watch the full session, click here.
