HALO Branded Solutions (UPIC: HBS) brought together nearly 250 of its top account executives, who represent most of the company’s $218 million in 2014 sales, at Belmond Charleston Place in Charleston, South Carolina, for its annual national sales meeting. Attendance at the late July event set a new record for the Sterling, Illinois, distributor.

The meeting included keynote speakers Tim Andrews, president and CEO of ASI, and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient General James E. Livingston. HALO also donated $2,500 to support the construction of the new Congressional Medal of Honor Museum at Patriot’s Point in Charleston.

More than 140 industry suppliers participated in education sessions over two days and attended a single-day trade show exclusively for the HALO team. Evening events included a tour of historic Charleston, Boone Hall Plantation and closing ceremonies on the USS Yorktown, home of the Congressional Medal of Honor Museum.

Jim Stutz, executive vice president of HALO, says, “The enthusiasm of our group—both account executives and suppliers—reflects the positive momentum we are seeing in our sales growth. The information and inspiration provided at this meeting energized our industry-leading sales team for the second half of a successful year.”
