There’s still time for you to watch this year’s Emmy nominations. The award show will be broadcast September 12, and there’s stiff competition this year.

The nominees were announced in July and hits like Succession, Ted Lasso and White Lotus scored the most nominations. For Outstanding Drama Series, not one of last year’s eight nominees in the category made it back this year. HBO’s Succession and Euphoria will be dueling it out with Netflix’s Stranger Things and Ozark.

It will be a night of both momentous achievement and bitter disappointment. But no matter what, award presenters and all nominated celebrities will not leave empty handed.

For a ninth year, the extravagant goodie-filled Giving Suite is returning. Celebs leave with loads of free luxury swag like all-expenses paid private island vacations, new tech gadgets and high-end jewelry. Brands pay heavily to be part of these suites, giving away unique products while asking celebrities to pose with the gifts. In the social media age, a brand’s product in the hands of the rich and famous can translate into exposure and sales.

Katie Kahler, account executive at Minnesota-based distributor American Solutions for Business, says luxury is about the entire package. “When we think about luxurious gifts and merchandise now, this is not just a brand name or a product, but how it is being used and the messaging behind that,” she says. “We don’t want to just send high end headphones to watch Emmys content at home, but an entire custom kit that will include the snacks and cozy essentials during the show, and a bath bomb and sleep mask to relax afterward.”

But the Giving Suite is giving back, too. The Television Academy Foundation, the charitable arm of the Television Academy, hosts the Giving Suite to support its mission to educate the next generation of diverse television leaders. Participating celebrities help by autographing items to be auctioned off by the Foundation to help support its programs.

“Since the Giving Suite’s goal is to raise money for career pathways and access to the television industry for students across the country, I would also make sure the merchandise we recommend also includes this focus on giving back,” Kahler says. “In addition to the presenter’s autograph, each product would include a high-end print piece focused on the multiple layers of giving back to key communities.”

While us regular folks may not get the top picks from the Giving Suite, there’s enough luxe promo to go around. Here’s what we’d want to see in a gifting suite.
