BAMKO (PPAI 242148, D11) has announced a strategic partnership with Encinitas, California, distributor Carder & Associates (PPAI 278410, D2). Los Angeles-based BAMKO followed a similar partnership model in 2019 with Lapgevity (PPAI 260498, D4), which has shown “incredible growth” over the last two years.

Carder & Associates represents a unique opportunity for BAMKO, as it aligns its access to the Brazilian market—where BAMKO Brazil operates as one of the country’s largest distributors—and Carder’s customer contacts there. Ana Rita Carder, Carder & Associates’ co-founder and owner, is a native Brazilian.

BAMKO acquisition strategy stems from a survey of the market that identified what it described as a gap that its uniquely positioned to fill for distributors poised for hyper-growth. While there are models in the market where companies will offer accounting, finance and sales support, it describes its approach as similar to an “incubator” in a Silicon Valley sense.

BAMKO’s full-service model preserves Carder & Associates’ ownership and autonomy while merging operations and providing guidance and resources.
