AIM Smarter (PPAI 230461, D12) has hired Lisa LeMond as its head of global sales for its AIM U.S./Canada and AIM UK markets.

  • LeMond joins the distributor network after over two decades of experience working with industry-leading suppliers.
  • AIM was ranked as the No. 26 distributor in this year’s inaugural PPAI 100

LeMond’s Promo Journey

LeMond has worked in sales leadership roles with suppliers in the promotional products industry for more than 25 years.

  • Most recently, she spent five years as the vice president of sales & customer service at IMAGEN brands.
  • Prior to that, she spent three years as national sales manager at PCNA.
  • In 2012, LeMond started a three-year tenure at Gill-line & Bebco as the company’s director of sales.
  • Starting in 1994, she joined BIC Graphic North America (now Koozie Group), where she spent 18 years, eventually carrying the title of international account manager.

AIM hopes that LeMond’s supplier experience will be a welcome perspective to the distributor network’s sales goals. It also has provided her with some familiarity with her new employer over the years.

“I have enjoyed working with the AIM team as a supplier partner for many years,” LeMond says. “Their collaborative culture, technology and growth story, both domestically and internationally have been inspiring to watch. Having worked alongside distributors my entire career, I am looking forward to bringing all my experience to the organization, work closely to serve the community and be a part of the AIM journey.”

The Global Sales Role

LeMond’s role as head of global sales means overseeing crucial aspects of AIM’s arms in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Her focus for this international role will include:

  • Driving membership
  • Pushing forward technology
  • Overseeing the enterprise sales programs

Initially founded in 2006 as an idea for a network of distributors could unite with suppliers in a mutually beneficial ways, AIM now has more than 2,400 members and an aggregate sales volume of $2 billion.

AIM’s CEO, Nichole Stella, says that, in part, LeMond was hired for the positive experiences the company has accumulated with her over the years through various professional dealings.

“Lisa is an outstanding and experienced promotional products professional,” says Stella. “I have had the pleasure of knowing her for many years and have seen firsthand the high level of professionalism and skilled leadership she delivers. I am thrilled to welcome her to our team and work alongside of her to continue to provide great services to our membership and supplier partners.”
