Designed to support the strong women of the promotional products industry, the PPPC Women’s Empowerment Event (WEE) has been growing exponentially for over 10 years now. The 11th annual WEE will take place May 29-30 at White Oaks Resort & Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and will be an event not to miss. The WEE committee has been hard at work to establish a program of fantastic speakers and workshops to teach attendees about leadership, teamwork and self-appreciation.

Past attendee Ann Baiden, MAS, Innovatex Solutions Inc., is one who truly believes in the purpose of the event and has been inspired to watch its growth. She says she feels genuinely rewarded to see the friendships flourish and the constant personal growth transpiring at WEE. Baiden adds that she has enjoyed every moment of her WEE experiences and cannot wait for the May 2020 event. “I have witnessed learning though both laughter and tears as our speakers continue to raise the bar each year. The WEE energy is something that needs to be experienced,” she says.

Carol de Ville, MAS, The Branding Company, says she loves how WEE, creates a learning environment that allows fellow industry associates to learn amongst their peers, share deep insights about where the industry is leaning and gain knowledge from strong women in business. Longtime WEE attendees can also attest to the significance that WEE has had on the industry. “The event has grown in all capacities: the speakers, the venue, the support and the lifelong friendships are all one of a kind. WEE has far outshone its objectives and has become a must-attend event.”

Kate Plummer, MAS, of Clearmount Plastics Ltd., says she could not be prouder of the work of the women of PPPC and encourages all women to take part in WEE. She continues to promote the drive, passion and determination within the group of women who attend the event every year and believes “the professional development that goes on at this event should not be missed.” She adds, “It’s not only an amazing chance to build your skill set, but to make deeper connections with colleagues who share the same achievements and challenges as you.”

PPPC is counting on another sold-out event in May and hopes that all attendees leave with a new sense of appreciation and love for the other women in the industry. Don’t miss out on this incredible event. For more information, visit www.wee.pppc.ca.
