How did your company get its start?

Like many good stories, ours begins on a sweet note in Paris. I was studying in France when I discovered that my passion wasn’t in business school – it was in pastries. Soon, I was learning how to whip up mouth-watering delicacies and tantalizing treats from Paris’s best pastry chefs.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2017, I knew that I wanted to bring a little bit of that Parisian sweet life to my new home. With no connections, no knowledge of the U.S. food market and only conversational English, I set out to bake up a business that would spread love with every bite and make for a truly special gifting experience. By combining delicious flavor, beautiful design and custom messages, DeLight Patisserie was born. My passion for sharing her cookies and pursuing the American dream fuels me every day.

Today, DeLight Patisserie creates one-of-a-kind shortbread cookies with a buttery flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture. But these yummy treats are more than cookies – they’re personalized messages that make celebrations of any kind even sweeter. 

What led your company to enter the promotional products market?

In 2020, we baked for the Oscars events for the guests of Disney who couldn’t attend the ceremony due to the pandemic. The cookies were customized with the message “AND THE OSCAR GOES TO...” The cookies were loved by people, and we started to gain attention from The Met, Fresh and Intuit for their events, employee gifts and client gifts.

What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry?

We love crafting personalized messages and logos on cookies for our clients, which makes us feel like we are part of the celebration as well. We are also often inspired by our clients when they share their ideas about custom packaging and cookie designs. When our clients give us compliments about how special and delicious our cookies are, we feel so proud, and all our hard work is worth it.

Why did you join PPAI?

We first discovered PPAI through Instagram. People seemed to love attending the trade shows organized by PPAI, so we instantly checked it out. Our rep, Willie, is very patient and helpful and offers a lot of useful information that made us want to join the family and exhibit at the trade show.
