Q: Over the past year, what extra actions have you taken to strengthen your company’s culture and keep employees engaged, motivated and happy at work?

“The past year was difficult for everyone, but at Cap America, we did what we could to keep morale up. This included increased pay for production employees, a restructured vacation schedule that makes time off more easily accessible, a raise across the board without annual reviews, and early access to annual bonus checks. Although 2020 limited our ability to gather and celebrate like we normally do, we still provided a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner to all employees. Finally, and possibly the most important thing, was keeping in constant  communication with our employees about the state of the company. We sent out weekly updates throughout the duration of 2020 to keep employees informed about business as well as new COVID procedures. We were and are working to build excitement around our new CA Premium Line and all of the exciting new things happening at Cap America. Our employees are a huge part of our success and we work diligently to make sure that they know that.”
