David Nicholson, president of Polyconcept North America, has been selected to serve on the PPAI Board of Directors to fulfill the unexpired term vacated by former board member Bill Mahre, CAS. Nicholson’s term began in May and runs through the PPAI Expo 2023. Nicholson previously served on the board as an at-large director in 2014-2016.

“David is the consummate leader with a wide breadth of knowledge and experience whose skill sets will be invaluable in helping the Association through a most challenging time of rebuilding and reinvention,” says PPAI Chair Ira Neaman, MAS.

Nicholson brings to the role more than 25 years of experience in the promotional products industry. He was a leader of the executive team responsible for growing supplier Leed’s, and ultimately Polyconcept North America (PCNA), into one of the industry’s largest and most respected suppliers. In addition to his current position, he’s also a member of Polyconcept’s Global Executive Committee. Nicholson joined Leed’s in 1993 as manager of overseas operations with responsibilities for purchasing, logistics and product development. From 2000-2002, he was chief operations officer and was named president of Leed’s in 2003. In 2009, he was promoted to his current position.

“I am honored to be returning to the PPAI board,” says Nicholson. “This is a critical time for the Association and for the broader industry as we assess and determine how best to move forward in this period of great uncertainty. I look forward to working with the PPAI board and team to ensure the industry not only recovers but thrives well into the future.”
