The early registration deadline for PPAI’s North American Leadership Conference – the promotional products industry's premier event for executive networking, leadership development and strategic foresight – is Friday, March 22.

  • The NALC runs May 5-7 at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Following a sold-out success in 2023, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in dynamic discussions and networking opportunities with influential leaders who are propelling the industry forward.

“NALC stands out for its ability to host leadership sessions that challenge and inspire, while simultaneously offering unmatched opportunities to establish meaningful relationships,” says Dale Denham, MAS+, president and CEO of PPAI.

“NALC interactions lead to growth, both personally and professionally. Participants become co-creators of a collective future, enriched by the sharing of ideas, experiences and aspirations, which are just as critical as the insights gained. The true value of attending NALC lies in these moments of connection, ignited by our compelling discussions. It's the ideal setting to mingle with leading executives from the PPAI 100, along with those on the path to joining this esteemed group.”

Professional Development

The NALC brings subject-matter experts from both within and outside the industry to explore the issues, challenges and opportunities facing promo today. The annual event also brings together leaders from promo’s most compelling companies to connect with and learn from one another.

The three-day event is packed with insightful educational sessions from high-profile speakers and networking opportunities, including:

  • Economic futurist Andrew Busch, the first Chief Market Intelligence Officer (CMIO) for the U.S. government, will answer the question “Where do we go from here?” on the economy, business and government policy. He will break down today's chaos and give specific ideas on how to overcome, adapt and thrive.

  • A panel of Salt Lake City CEOs will discuss their backgrounds, their companies’ stories and the innovative environments they’ve been able to create in Utah, considered one of the top states for entrepreneurship.

  • A firsthand account of what is happening around the world that you can’t learn about in the news, from inside Russia and Ukraine to macroeconomic trends and global matters that could impact your business and the industry.

  • Are you an innovator or an executor? Companies need both to produce creativity and growth. Learn which style you are and how to create an environment where innovation thrives from an expert in the field.

  • Gain insight into imminent sustainability regulations in the U.S. from experts currently navigating them in Europe.

  • Connect with other executives during morning activities, meals, receptions, breaks and dinners designed specifically for networking.

“I’m beyond excited about the caliber of content lined up for this year's NALC,”
says Ellen Tucker, CAE, MAS, PPAI’s vice president of revenue and expositions. “Our members will find immense value from being in attendance, gaining insights across a spectrum of topics from remarkable speakers, including one of my favorite geopolitical experts.”

2024 PPAI 100

During the NALC, the Association will reveal the second annual PPAI 100, a ranking of the industry’s leading companies.

  • Placement on the yearly PPAI 100 is the highest recognition the Association bestows on its most exemplary member companies.

The list – which has doubled this year to rank 100 distributors and 100 suppliers – is unlike any ever produced in the promo market. In addition to recognizing more member companies, this year’s list will also include international firms and changes to the scoring criteria for several categories.

Fully backed by research, PPAI 100 not only tracks the previous year’s sales for ranking companies, but also weighs many additional factors relevant to corporate leadership, such as business growth over time, corporate social responsibility and technology practices, employee happiness, industry faith and beyond.

“NALC is the industry event where leaders can network together and share best practices, all in an amazing information gathering setting,” says Andrew Spellman, CAS, board chair for PPAI and vice president of corporate markets at Therabody. “The time dedicated to networking is very well planned and culminates with the PPAI 100 reveal for 2024. I’m eagerly anticipating my trip to Salt Lake City!”
